    The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau manages and operates the Little Rock Visitor Information Center in Historic Curran Hall. Within its first year of operation, the Center was visited by all fifty states.

    In addition, Little Rock hosts international events such as the American Taekwondo Association's World Championships annually. Arkansas is a world leader in rice production and has well-established international trade. Because of this, many international tourists find their way to Little Rock and the shores of the Arkansas River.

    Little Rock has, within the past few years, become known both regionally and nationally as a destination. This status is being solidified with the completion of the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park and with the current construction of Heifer International.

    Little Rock is a river city, situated a stone's throw from the Arkansas River. Its diverse topography offers visitors a broad spectrum of recreational outlets; whether you're in the mood to traverse a trail-topped mountain, canoe a swiftly flowing river, fish in a trout-rich lake, ride horses on a working cattle ranch, or simply stroll through a tree-lined park.
