Magos Herrera, a Mexican-born jazz singer-songwriter, producer, and educator, is renowned for her captivating voice and remarkable presence in the Latin American jazz scene. She effortlessly combines elements of contemporary jazz, Ibero-American melodies, and rhythms, transcending language barriers with her bold and elegant style.
She has graced prestigious cultural venues worldwide, such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center, and has enthralled audiences at renowned jazz festivals like Montreux and Montreal.
Known for her advocacy for gender equality, Herrera serves as a spokesperson for UN Women and is a recipient of various grants and awards. Currently, she holds the position of Cultural Diplomatic Advisor for the Mexican Government and teaches at the New York Mannes Conservatory.
