Jubilee Film Festival Award Ceremony

The Jubilee Film Festival is a festival celebrating Black excellence and Black struggle. All of the entries should have a narrative of Black life whether through struggle or the continuous push toward excellence. The night of June 16th, 2023 will be about glitz and glam when the awards ceremony for the film festival takes place. At the awards ceremony, there will be a VIP hour where saxophonist and vocalist Michael Eubanks will be performing live, food provided by CBR'z Catering by Zachery, signature drinks will be provided by Delta Dirt Distillery from Helena, Arkansas and the opportunity to meet and greet several celebrities who have been on the big screen or the small screen of movies, tv shows or sit-com/dramas. You get to view snippets the winning submissions at Ron Robinson auditorium nestled in Little Rock, Arkansas' primary downtown night life area, the River Market.

We have confirmed Richard St. John, who has a reoccurring role on Black Mafia Family (BMF) Season 2. We have confirmed an appearance by Hasaan Rasheed, who secured a role as an extra in Marvel's Black Panther which grossed over $1,000,000,000.00 at the box office. We have confirmed an appearance by Dion Burns who has worked behind the scenes on True Detective Season 2 with Mahershala Ali, on camera for the movie, Freedom Path with RJ Cyler from The Harder They Fall and numerous stage plays.

The show will be hosted by Faith Woodard, local news anchor. Plus, our red carpet interviews will be hosted by Ebony Anderson aka 'Pinky,' a local live music performer, comedian, and spoken word artist.

$50.00 General Admission. $100 VIP event and ceremony.
