River Market Live - Featuring Big John Miller Band

This funky blue soul band from Little Rock, Arkansas knows how to energize a crowd. Best known for their live performances, the Big John Miller Band delivers a mix of soul, jazz, blues, funk and rock. Over the past thirty years, the band has developed a strong following throughout the South by writing and performing original music as well as interpreting crowd favorites.

Influenced by musicians such as Al Green, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, and James Brown, Big John has developed a style all his own. Perhaps the late, great, James Brown summed it up best when Big John opened for the Godfather of Soul: "Boy when you sing, you sing the white right off you!"
