In this project-based learning program, students will learn about 3D modeling and graphic design while creating a fully functioning board game from scratch. Over the course of six sessions, students will receive instruction in 3D modeling and graphic design software, learn about game design and mechanics, and receive one-on-one feedback and assistance from instructors. By the end of the program, students will have created a unique board game, complete with 3D printed game pieces and packaging design. This course is an excellent opportunity for kids to gain valuable skills in 3D modeling, graphic design, and game design while having fun and fostering their creativity.
No prior knowledge is required. Some outside class work will be required (1 – 2 hours maximum per week during “off weeks”).
