Burns Park & Golf Course

North Little Rock
Burns Park is one of the largest municipal parks in the country, with 1,700 acres featuring a log cabin built prior to the Civil War, a covered bridge, a handicapped accessible fishing pier, a camping area, two 18-hole golf courses, two 18-hole disc golf courses, a baseball and softball complex, 17 soccer fields, 27 outdoor tennis courts plus an additional six indoors courts, mtb and hiking trails, equestrian trails, seven playgrounds, a three acre dog park and more.

Burns Park offers two regulation eighteen hole courses. The Championship Course is very narrow and challenging for all skill levels. The signature hole is #15, a 367-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg left fairway and requiring a shot over water. The Tournament Course has open fairways on the first few holes, then tightens up as you continue through your round. There are several par 5's that can be reached in two shots, so this is a great course for making birdies or even an eagle. The greens are large, undulating and fast. Water hazards come into play on fourteen holes. The signature hole is #5, a 500-yard, par 5, featuring an uphill dogleg left fairway that provides a majestic view of the Arkansas River.

Burns Park Soccer Complex is home to 17 grass, Tiffway II fields with full irrigation. Six fields are equipped with tournament lighting. There are 1,500 parking spaces available near the fields.

The mountain biking trails inside Burns Park span 14 miles and are easily reached from downtown Little Rock and North Little Rock.  The trails feature some challenging rock gardens, stout climbs and fast, rocky downhills with several loop options.  Take the Emerald Loop for a more challenging route or steer over to the Pfifer Loop at the base of Big Dam Bridge for a more leisurely ride.

The Tennis Center is managed by the Arkansas Tennis Association. It features 21 outdoor adult hard courts, six outdoors children's hard courts and six indoor adult hard courts.

First class baseball and softball fields along with basketball and volleyball courts offer additional areas for activities.
