Heifer International, Heifer Village, & Heifer Urban Farm

Downtown
East Village
Since 1944, Heifer has helped more than 22.6 million families in over 125 countries improve their quality of life and become more self-reliant.

Headquartered in downtown Little Rock, the Heifer International Center reflects the organization's dedication to sustainability in every square foot. Innovative environmental techniques are used to reduce energy and water consumption, and to conserve resources whenever possible through the use of local and recycled materials. In a 30 minute tour, visitors will learn about Heifer's mission, the "green" features of the platinum LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified building and Heifer's commitment to responsible use of resources.

Conveniently located in downtown Little Rock, the Heifer International Campus offers unique rental spaces that include beautiful views of both native wetlands and the city's skyline. From indoor rooms ideal for meetings or lunches, to manicured lawns and outdoor spaces, the Heifer Campus has everything a full service venue needs...including a working farm complete with sheep, goats and alpacas.

Heifer Village
Heifer Village is a place where visitors, staff, volunteers, and the international development community can come together to learn more about world hunger, poverty, solutions currently being employed to combat those problems, about Heifer and its mission, and help to seek solutions in the worldwide effort to end hunger and poverty. In addition to permanent exhibit space, the Heifer Village provides a valuable educational resource for schools and a forum for individuals to come together to learn and discuss issues through ongoing daytime, evening and weekend programming.

Heifer Urban Farm
The Urban Farm is a three-acre, multi-purpose garden located behind Heifer headquarters in Little Rock, Ark. Created as part of our vision to actively engage in the local community, the Urban Farm has grown from a small community garden into an operation the serves several Arkansas food networks.
