LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 23, 2018) The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) announced today that Bill Fitzgerald has been selected as their new Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
With more than 30 years of experience in marketing, advertising and communications, Fitzgerald has extensive experience in project management, creative direction, advertising, and branding. He has worked on numerous travel and tourism related accounts including creative efforts for the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism.
As the new VP of Marketing and Communications, Fitzgerald will be responsible for managing LRCVB’s destination marketing, communication, visitor services, as well as advertising and promotion efforts.
“I am very excited to add Bill to our team,” stated Gretchen Hall, President and CEO of LRCVB. “Bill brings a wealth of knowledge specifically in marketing and advertising to the LRCVB. His experience will support our mission to attract visitors and stimulate tourism growth.”
Most recently, Fitzgerald was the creative director for Thoma Thoma in Little Rock. His background also includes positions at CJRW and Heifer International. He’s earned local, regional and national recognition for his work in marketing, advertising and public relations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.
LRCVB Mission - The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) is the official destination marketing organization for the City of Little Rock, charged with marketing and selling the city as a meeting, sports and leisure travel destination. The LRCVB also manages the Statehouse Convention Center, Robinson Center, River Market and multiple parking facilities.
