The Root Cafe
If you're looking for a farm-to-table breakfast or lunch spot that treats your dog like a regular, The Root Cafe is the move. The covered patio and garden seating on SoMa have been a neighborhood gathering spot for more than a decade, and leashed dogs are welcome in both. The menu gives you plenty of reasons to linger. Think buttermilk biscuits and gravy, a pimento cheeseburger made with locally sourced beef, or a bratwurst your dog will be eyeing the entire meal. Good news for west siders, too. The newer Breckenridge Village location has its own dog-friendly courtyard.
The Fold
The Fold is a Riverdale favorite set inside a reimagined 1950s gas station, and the indoor/outdoor patio works year-round for you and your pup. Order the tacos, grab a hand-squeezed cocktail, and fair warning, the tables sit at a very convenient mouth-height for taller dogs.
Hill Station
Hill Station was built with everybody in mind, and that includes your dog. The large outdoor patio on Kavanaugh is one of the most popular in the city, and water bowls and treats are ready and waiting for four-legged guests. The menu runs from hand-crafted burgers and fresh salads to risotto, rotating craft cocktails, and Sunday brunch is worth planning your weekend around.
Stone's Throw Brewing
One of Little Rock's original craft breweries and still one of the best. Stone's Throw has been a mainstay of the local beer scene since 2013, and their biergarten is a perfect spot to settle in with a small-batch brew and your pup. Relaxed, neighborhood-y, and the kind of place that feels better the more time you spend there.
Lost Forty Brewing
Lost Forty is one of the most popular spots in Little Rock, and the covered outdoor patio is a big reason why. Dogs are welcome at outdoor tables, water bowls are on hand, and the food menu holds its own alongside the craft beer selection. Named for 40 acres of Arkansas' last virgin forest, there's a real sense of Arkansas pride baked and brewed into everything here, and that makes it a great stop for visitors wanting to taste something genuinely local.
Southern Tail Brewing
Founded by dog lovers, Southern Tail Brewing was designed from the ground up with four-legged guests in mind. The outdoor patio has green space, shade, fans, and even a dog menu featuring dog broth for your pup while you enjoy a craft beer. There's also a large lawn for yard games, a stage for live music, and regular adoption events benefiting local animal rescues.
Fassler Hall
Little Rock's beloved German beer hall has an expansive outdoor beer garden that's as good for dogs as it is for people. Grab a house-made sausage, order a stein, and find a table in the garden. Fassler is lively, social, and always a good time, making it exactly the kind of place that earns a spot on every Little Rock patio list.
La Terraza Rum & Lounge
This Venezuelan gem in the heart of Hillcrest has been a local favorite for years, and its multi-leveled deck is one of the most charming outdoor dining experiences in the city. Bring your dog, order the rum cocktail, and take in one of the best people-watching spots in the neighborhood.
Zaza Fine Salad & Wood-Oven Pizza Co.
Zaza's wood-fired pizzas and made-to-order salads are a Heights staple, and their patio is a great spot to enjoy both with your dog by your side. It's a smaller, more intimate outdoor space, which gives it a cozy feel that works well for a casual lunch or a laid-back evening out.
Raduno Brick Oven & Barroom
Raduno's street-side patio in the SoMa neighborhood is small but mighty. Neapolitan-style pizza, 20 rotating beers on tap, craft cocktails, and a relaxed come-as-you-are atmosphere make it a SoMa go-to. Dogs are welcome, the pizza is excellent, and the people-watching on Main Street is a bonus.
Bark Bar & Grille
If there's one stop on this list that you absolutely cannot skip, it's Bark Bar & Grille. Arkansas' first indoor/outdoor off-leash dog play area and bar, it's the kind of place that makes dog owners wonder why every city doesn't have one. Your dog gets a safe, fenced space to run and socialize while you enjoy local craft beer, creative cocktails, and coffee.
