By 1900, Mosaic Templars industries grew to include an insurance company, a building and loan association, a publishing company, a business college, a nursing school and a hospital. The original headquarters building was destroyed in a fire in March 2005. Rebuilt to preserve the history, on September 20th, 2008, the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center and Museum opened to the public as a state-of-the-art facility with more than 8,000 square feet of interactive exhibit and education space.
The Third Floor Auditorium at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, a museum dedicated to celebrating the history of African American Arkansans, is one of the most regal venues in all of Little Rock. The historic space with its stage, plush hardwood floors and wraparound balcony regularly plays host to events ranging from banquets and awards ceremonies to lectures and family reunions. It is also home to the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame.
