The 4th annual Defeat the Beast Rodeo returns to Barton Coliseum for two nights of thrilling competition and entertainment. This African American invitational rodeo showcases some of the nation’s top Black cowboys and cowgirls while celebrating heritage, community, and the legacy of Black excellence in rodeo. Hosted by local Arkansans, the event also aims to inspire the next generation to explore opportunities in agriculture and the rodeo industry.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. each night.
