This no- or low-cost program recognizes your restaurant’s efforts with a guided certification walkthrough, promotional materials, window clings, and a featured listing on the City’s Green Restaurant webpage. It also helps reduce operational costs, engage staff, and strengthen your connection to the community.

Earn certification by completing simple, sustainable actions across five key areas:

• Ask First (e.g., only offer straws, water, utensils upon request)
• Recycling (e.g., cardboard, plastic, metal, glass, or film)
• Food (e.g., vegetarian/vegan options, food donations, composting, local sourcing)
• Packaging (e.g., no Styrofoam, BYOC incentives, reusable programs)
• Fats, Oils & Grease (FOG) (e.g., employee training, proper signage)

When you choose a certified Green Restaurant in Little Rock, you’re supporting local establishments that actively reduce waste, promote responsible sourcing, and take steps to protect the environment.
