Springtime in Little Rock brings the return of Jazz in the Park. Back for a 7th season, we’re excited to welcome some of our favorite local female musicians to the History Pavilion this April. Sponsored by the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau (LRCVB), partnering with Art Porter Music Education, Inc. (APME), Jazz in the Park celebrates local musicians who in Little Rock’s jazz scene.
This season marks the fifth year partnering with APME, which offers scholarships to talented Arkansas music students who wish to further their education while promoting community service and volunteering.
Free and open to the public, this family-friendly event will feature a different band each Wednesday in April from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the History Pavilion.

April 17 — Genine LaTrice-Perez (New to Jazz in the Park)
April 24 — Ramona Smith
The event is completely free, but no coolers are allowed. Beer, wine, soft drinks and water will be available for sale, along with new Jazz in the Park koozies, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit Art Porter Music Education, Inc.’s scholarship fund. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, and there is some seating in the natural stone amphitheater at the History Pavilion.
