Destinations International to host Fall Learning Week events in Little Rock Oct. 7-12
Over 400 tourism and destination professionals registered to attend the week of summits.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 6, 2023) — The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau will host Destinations International (DI), the world’s largest resource for official destination organizations and convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs) for a series of events during its Fall Learning Week, Oct. 7-12 in Little Rock, Ark.
“We are very excited to bring over 400 destination professionals to Little Rock for our 2023 Fall Learning Week Events,” said Don Welsh, president and CEO of Destinations International. “These events offer exceptional educational and networking opportunities for destination organization professionals and the organizations that support them. Gina Gemberling and the team at Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau are ready to roll out the red carpet for our attendees and we look forward to an engaging week in Arkansas’s capital city.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to further their destination and tourism expertise at the following events: Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) Oct. 9-11; Business Operations Summit Oct. 10-11; Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Summit Oct. 10-11; and an Advocacy Summit Oct. 10-12.
Special guests with Little Rock connections will be in attendance alongside destination professionals. Elizabeth Eckford, American civil rights activist and member of the Little Rock Nine, will be featured as a speaker at the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Summit. Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. will join attendees for the Advocacy Summit.
