Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau Announces Brenda Hatton-Ficklin as Director of Community Engagement.
Bureau expands efforts to engage residents and collaborate with community organizations
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Aug. 26, 2025) — The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) is pleased to announce that Brenda Hatton-Ficklin, who has served in a variety of sales roles since 2020, has been named Director of Community Engagement. In this newly established position, Hatton-Ficklin will guide efforts to continue building strong ties with residents, organizations, and neighborhood partners, while further positioning Little Rock as a welcoming, inclusive destination.
With more than 30 years of nonprofit and community relations experience, Hatton-Ficklin will collaborate with neighborhood associations, civic and cultural groups, and local leaders to expand awareness of bureau initiatives, foster strategic partnerships, and support programming that elevates Arkansas’ capital city.
She has also been instrumental in attracting major organizations and events to Little Rock, including national sororities, fraternities, and large-scale cultural programs. Her ability to cultivate lasting relationships with partners and meeting planners has helped bring groups such as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Ram Katha, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. to the city.
