JAZZ IN THE PARK RETURNS TO RIVER MARKET
Weekly Concerts Spotlight Local Jazz and Benefit Music Students.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (August 28, 2025) – The 12th season of “Jazz in the Park” takes place this September at the River Market Pavilions located at 400 President Clinton Ave. in the River Market District.
The free event is held from 6–8 p.m. each Wednesday in September and is a program hosted by the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB). Additionally, the bureau continues to partner with Art Porter Music Education, Inc. (APME), which provides scholarships for Arkansas music students.
“Our continued commitment to providing fun, accessible programming in the River Market District is what makes Jazz in the Park so special,” said LRCVB President & CEO Gina Gemberling. “It’s a chance for both residents and visitors to come together, enjoy live music along the river, and celebrate another great season of local jazz in Little Rock.”
“Jazz in the Park is more than just great music. It is about celebrating community, culture, and the next generation of artists,” said LRCVB Event Coordinator Elizabeth Alexander. “Through our partnership with APME, we are proud to showcase local talent while also supporting music education in our community.”
This September's schedule includes performances by:
September 3 – Dizzy 7
September 10 – Blu Jams and Co.
September 17 – Tonya Leeks
September 24 – Rodney Block Collective
The family-friendly series features a different band each week in the open-air pavilions near the Arkansas River, and this year’s finale will be from the Rodney Block Collective rounding out the season. Beer, wine, and soft drinks are available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the APME scholarship fund. Lawn chairs are welcome, but seating will also be provided. Coolers and outside beverages are not allowed.
