Little Rock Convention Visitors Bureau To Launch New Mobile Attractions Pass
The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) is scheduled to launch a brand new mobile-exclusive attractions pass on May 2, 2022.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark (April 25, 2022) - The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) is scheduled to launch a brand new mobile-exclusive attractions pass May 2, 2022, highlighting the capital city’s top attractions. Kicking off National Travel & Tourism Week (May 1-7) and the arrival of the city’s peak travel season, this free pass will be available to tourists and residents alike.
The pass, through the technology company Bandwango, is a free program that anyone can sign up for. With nearly 40 of Little Rock’s most visible local attractions included within the passport-like format, it showcases the best of the city in an easy, mobile-friendly way.
“We’re excited to see travel resuming,” said LRCVB President & CEO Gina Gemberling. “Since early 2020, people were forced to hit pause on their vacation plans, and they have anxiously awaited a return to normalcy and travel,” she added. “This new, free mobile pass is a great way to enhance the guest experience while in the destination, while we continue to support and promote our hospitality and tourism partners.”
The pass encourages residents and visitors to make the most out of their time in Little Rock. They can use the official Attractions Pass as a personal guide on things to see and do, and electronically “check-in” at sites across the city to earn exciting Little Rock swag as they explore. Tiered incentives include:
- Initial Pass Sign-Up: Little Rock branded sticker
- 5 Attraction Check-Ins: Monthly sweepstakes drawing entry
- 15 Attraction Check-Ins: Big on Little Rock t-shirt
Once launched, residents and visitors will be able to visit a dedicated mobile passport landing page where they can sign up for their Little Rock Attractions Pass by confidentially providing their name, e-mail address, and mobile phone number. A link is then sent to their mobile phone, which opens the pass and directs the user to add the pass to their home screen, where they can access it any time. There is never anything to download, no bulky apps take up space on a user’s phone, and best of all it’s free and fun.
When visiting a participating attraction, participants will simply check in using their phone's built- in GPS to start earning prizes.
