LITTLE ROCK FARMERS MARKET OPENS MAY 3
A LITTLE ROCK CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU SIGNATURE EVENT RETURNS
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (March 18, 2025) – The Little Rock Farmers Market, a signature program of the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB), will return to the River Market pavilions at 400 President Clinton Ave. Saturday, May 3, for the start of its 2025 season. The market will be open Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. through August 30, offering farm-fresh produce, locally prepared food, handmade artisan goods, and more in one of the city’s most beloved open-air community spaces.
Interested vendors are invited to submit their 2025 vendor applications. The updated 2025 rules and regulations include important refinements to vendor categories, product eligibility, attendance policies, and operational procedures designed to enhance the overall market experience for vendors and guests alike.
“We’re excited to kick off another great season at the Little Rock Farmers Market,” said Elizabeth Alexander, LRCVB market manager. “We’ve taken feedback from past years and made thoughtful updates that support our mission of connecting local makers, growers, and small businesses with our community.”
Approved vendor categories include:
- Farmers, Growers & Produce Brokers
- Locally Prepared Food Vendors
- Artisans & Handcrafted Goods
- Nonprofit & Informational Booths
- Buskers/Live Entertainment
Applications will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market standards, customer demand, and available space. Vendors are encouraged to apply early, as placement is limited and priority is given to returning vendors with strong attendance records.
Also returning this year is the “Lil’ Farmers” series for children of all ages. The popular event features special programming, crafts, and activities throughout the season, and is meant to educate and engage in a fun environment.
Free parking will be available behind the pavilions and in the River Market Parking Deck at 2nd St. and River Market Ave. The market will continue to support SNAP benefits and remain a proud participant in the Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) program, matching SNAP tokens up to $20 to help increase access to fresh, local food.
