LITTLE ROCK, Ark. Monday, July 16, Little Rock’s downtown River Market District, in partnership with MINI of Little Rock, the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Downtown Little Rock Partnership will host the drivers at “MINI Takes the Rock” on the grounds of the Clinton Presidential Center from 6-9 p.m.  This sporty event will feature local jazz musician Rodney Block, local craft beer from Rebel Kettle Brewing and local ice cream from Loblolly Creamery. The public is invited to come out, enjoy local craft beer, and entertainment and take in the spectacle of hundreds of gleaming MINIs. MONDAY’S EVENT: Free, Open to the Public. Beer and ice cream available for purchase.

Food Drive: In support of MINI TAKES THE STATES’ national non-profit charity, Feeding America, the Arkansas Foodbank will host a food drive at Monday’s event. The Arkansas Foodbank is one of Feeding America’s 200 partner foodbanks throughout the nation. All food drive collections from Monday’s event will remain in Arkansas.

Tuesday, July 17, the MINIs will "Rise and Rally" and take off en masse from the tarmac of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport 7:30-9:00 a.m. for their next destination, Dallas, Texas. This sendoff is open only to registered participants in “MINI TAKES THE STATES” but will be covered by local media. TUESDAY’S EVENT: MINI automobile owners only.

MINI owners may drive the entire rally, hop on several legs of the journey, or simply make a Little Rock pit stop. Arkansas’s capital city is one of 12 stops along two routes that begin in Orlando, Florida and Portland, Oregon. The mass of MINIs will meet in Keystone, Colorado on July 22.
