The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) has promoted Christin Byrd to the marketing and communications team’s Creative Services Manager responsible for managing the team’s advertisement creation and promotional material development for the bureau. Since 2012, Byrd has served as organization’s Graphic and Web Designer.

As Creative Services Manager, Byrd helps lead the creation, development, and revision of print and digital advertising, merchandising and branding materials, and marketing collateral for the LRCVB. She also coordinates with the bureau’s internal departments and outside agencies to oversee the development of various departmental materials and projects including customized sales materials, retail merchandise, facility art and signage, brochures, hand-outs and other related information to ensure consistent application of the market and brand integrity of the LRCVB.

Byrd’s creative work can be seen in downtown Little Rock along the 500 block of the Main Street Creative Corridor. In 2015, she was chosen by StudioMAIN for her Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Ballet Arkansas and Arkansas Symphony Orchestra sign designs.

During her time with the LRCVB, Byrd has served on Little Rock’s Sculpture At The River Market committee, working closely with members to design a wide variety of promotion materials for special events and the Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden. She is also a member of the LRCVB employee-driven Sustainability and Health and Wellbeing committees.

“Christin has served for the past seven years as an excellent Little Rock ambassador through her creativity and commitment to the work the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau does for our city,” said Bill Fitzgerald, LRCVB Vice President of Marketing & Communications. “She will help lead the bureau to the next level of promoting Little Rock as the ideal leisure travel and convention destination,” he added.

Byrd is an active community volunteer. She has served as a Redfield Athletic Association Pee Wee Basketball coach, Saint Edwards Catholic School It Takes a Village committee decorations chair, Cub Scout Pack 805 den leader and a Little Rock Bop Club Rock City Swing event committee member.

Byrd graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts Studio Art/Graphic Design degree from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. She minored in digital graphics. She also served in the University of Little Rock at Arkansas Art Department Undergraduate Assistantship and Visible Music College Graphic Design Internship (Memphis, TN) programs, respectively.

The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) is the official destination marketing organization for the City of Little Rock, charged with marketing and selling the city as a meeting, sports and leisure travel destination.
