LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (February 10, 2022) –  The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) announces the hiring of Brian M. Staggers as its new senior director of Information Technology.

In the senior director of IT role, Staggers oversees the Bureau’s IT infrastructure, including computer services, networking, and information security. He also helps identify future technology needs throughout the LRCVB and carries out the recommendations of a rigorous technological infrastructure review that the LRCVB commissioned from Guidepost Solutions and Aanko Technologies in 2021.

Staggers, a Little Rock native, holds a Master of Arts in IT Management and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Webster University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Philander Smith College. Before joining the LRCVB, Staggers served as IT manager for the North Little Rock School District since 2019 and was the IS manager for the Arkansas School for the Deaf, a position he held for 11 years.

“We are excited about Brian joining our team,” said LRCVB Sr. Vice President of Finance & Administration Chris Phillips. “His proven track record and experience with cyber security and management of information systems will be invaluable to us as we re-envision the role of the department in our organization,” Phillips added.

“I'm excited for the opportunity to serve the LRCVB in this role,” said Staggers. “After being in technology for 20 years, I feel it's important to align our current and future technology initiatives to build the best programs and offerings to promote our great city. I am looking forward to working with the fantastic team here that creates those extraordinary experiences for our community."
