The BIG Little Rock Holiday Parade
Mark your calendars! The Big Little Rock Holiday Parade is set for Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 3 p.m. in downtown Little Rock! This year's theme, "Candy Cane," invites participants and spectators alike to celebrate the sweetness of the season with bold stripes, bright colors, and whimsical holiday cheer.
Theme Description: “Candy Cane" captures the playful spirit of the holidays, calling on parade participants to bring the magic of this classic seasonal treat to life through imaginative floats, costumes, and designs. Whether it's traditional red-and-white or a creative twist on the theme, we're excited to see the parade route filled with peppermint-inspired fun.
As we gather for this beloved community celebration, expect an evening full of vibrant creativity, joyful music, and memorable moments that bring families and friends together. Whether you're joining as a float participant or simply enjoying the view from the sidewalk, the Big Little Rock Holiday Parade is sure to be a highlight of the season.
The parade kicks off at 3 p.m. at Broadway and West Markham streets, traveling east along Markham Street to the area near Interstate 30.

Rules & Regulations
To ensure a festive and safe event, all participants in The BIG Little Rock Holiday Parade must follow the rules and regulations outlined below:
- Decorations and Costumes: All entries should showcase festive decorations or costumes that elevate the parade's entertainment value and holiday spirit. Floats must also reflect this year's theme, "Candy Cane," celebrating the sweetness of the season.
- Safety Measures:
- Children's Groups: For safety reasons, all children and children's groups must ride on a vehicle (e.g., car, truck, or float). Only adult walking units and school groups such as marching bands, drill teams, and military units are permitted to walk.
- Vehicle Safety: Drivers of motorized vehicles such as three-wheelers or four-wheelers must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid driver's license.
- Supervision: Each entry must have a designated person in charge who is responsible for ensuring all participants adhere to the parade guidelines.
- Timeliness: All participants must follow the parade schedule and arrive at the designated lineup area by the time specified in follow-up communications. This ensures that the parade runs smoothly and stays on schedule.
- No Stopping to Perform: Walking entries should not stop to perform along the parade route unless pre-approved as part of the official entertainment schedule. This ensures the parade keeps moving and prevents delays.
- Permits and Documentation: All participants must complete their entry forms by Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Proof of permits or licenses, where required, must be submitted by the same date.
- Liability Release: Each participant, through their appointed representative, must sign a release form waiving liability for the City of Little Rock in the event of any accidents or damages.
