Pinnacle Mountain Monument Trails
The Monument Trails at Pinnacle Mountain State Park were built with state-of-the-art technology to be the most sustainable and most exciting trails in Arkansas.
These trails explore areas of Pinnacle Mountain State Park that were previously inaccessible while offering dramatic views of lowland forest and the sweeping Arkansas River Valley. While these trails are optimized for mountain biking, you may encounter the occasional hiker or runner on some trails. Oh, and please watch for deer.
What is a Monument Trail?
Monument Trails are a collection of world-class mountain biking destinations within Arkansas State Parks. Although these trails are optimized for mountain biking, they offer great terrain for trail running and hiking alike. These shared-use trails were professionally crafted by some of the world's best trail builders to showcase each site's natural and iconic beauty through innovative and sustainable design and building practices.
The Monument Trail network offers users of all skill levels meaningful and enduring experiences in nature. The trails are accessible to everyone seeking an outdoor adventure. On these trails, users will connect to a sense of extraordinary place and history while building lasting memories with each visit.
Monument Trails are created through a partnership between Arkansas State Parks, the Arkansas Parks and Recreation Foundation (APRF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing parks and recreational opportunities throughout The Natural State, and The Walton Family Foundation.
