Spooky Sprint

Ghosts, ghouls, and runners, oh my! This Halloween-themed race invites participants of all ages to hit the course in costume and enjoy festive perks like a designer shirt, custom medal, chip-timed results, free photos, and sweet treats at the finish line.
Howl-O-Ween Party in the Plaza at the Little Rock Zoo

Get ready for a fang-tastic time at the Little Rock Zoo! On Saturdays, October 18 and 25, guests are invited to wear their best costumes, meet fairy tale characters, explore themed play zones, and ride the “Scaredy-Cat” Carousel and Trick-or-Treat Train. Included with regular zoo admission, the event also features Halloween-themed enrichment activities for the animals.
Beloved Pet Ofrenda

Celebrate Día de los Muertos with a special ofrenda honoring the memory of beloved pets. This meaningful display invites the community to reflect, remember, and share stories of the animals that touched their lives. Visitors are welcome to view the ofrenda throughout the celebration and enjoy themed décor, cultural elements, and a space for remembrance.
2025 Festival of Darkness

Festival of Darkness is back with its legendary zombie apocalypse theme, and this year the undead are saddling up for a Wild West showdown. Expect samples from more than 30 local and regional breweries and distilleries, live music from DJ AJ, Bad Habit, and Rhinestone Revival, circus-style thrills with stilt-walkers and fire-breathers, and plenty of food and beer to keep the party going. With cash prizes for the best costumes and a beer garden of darkness to explore, this is one Halloween celebration that’s bound to be a real wing-dinger.
