The Capital Hotel offers Southern elegance and gracious service in the heart of downtown, just a block from the Statehouse Convention Center and steps from the Arkansas River. Opened in 1876, the hotel has hosted dignitaries, including President Ulysses S. Grant, who stayed there in 1880.

The Capital Hotel offers five meeting rooms, including the 43-by-43-foot Ballroom and two Brooks and Baxter Salons, each about 1,500 square feet. The Cherokee and Quapaw Parlors can be combined to host receptions for 75 or dinners for 50. On-site dining includes One Eleven at The Capital and Capital Bar & Grill, along with an intimate wine cellar well suited for private dinners and small-group gatherings. The hotel features fine dining and 94 guest rooms that reflect Southern charm and comfort.
