P.A.R.K. (Positive Atmosphere Reaches Kids)

P.A.R.K.’s Athletic Center’s three full-size basketball courts, weight room, and dance floor are hot spots for students completing their academic hour. The basketball courts are not only used for basketball, but for also for volleyball. There are tournaments that take place during the summer program among the students.

The weight room is a favorite of many of the program’s athletes and health buffs. Treadmills, elliptical and toning machines, as well as, free-weights make it possible for everyone to get in and stay in shape.

The Athletic Center is not only for the use of the students who attend P.A.R.K., but it is often rented by outside sources. For example, (AAU Amateur Athletic Union) basketball tournaments are often held at P.A.R.K. along with other events.
