Arkansas State Capitol Lighting Ceremony 2026

It's the 88th Anniversary of the Capitol Lighting Ceremony at the Arkansas State Capitol. This beloved tradition brings the community together to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.

Following the ceremony and a breathtaking fireworks show, step inside the Capitol to explore a wonderland of Christmas decorations, including the Fallen Heroes Holiday Tree. Visit Santa in his workshop, browse the Capitol Gift Shop for unique holiday finds, and pick up the 2025 Capitol Christmas Ornament. Extended holiday hours begin after the lighting: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
