The BIG Little Rock Holiday Parade Returns Dec. 6
Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau calls for community participation in annual holiday event.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 29, 2025) - The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) announces the return of the BIG Little Rock Holiday Parade to be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2025 in downtown Little Rock. This year's theme, "Candy Cane Lane," invites the community to celebrate the holiday season with bright lights, creative designs, and holiday cheer.
“We are thrilled to once again host the BIG Little Rock Holiday Parade and can’t wait to see how our community embraces and embodies this year’s parade theme,” said LRCVB President and CEO Gina Gemberling. “The BIG Little Rock Holiday Parade is a beloved tradition that celebrates Little Rock’s creativity and togetherness during the holiday season.”
Parade participants are encouraged to bring their best and brightest peppermint-inspired elements to capture the magic of this year’s theme to life through imaginative floats, costumes, and designs. Entries will compete for cash prizes including a $500 grand prize and trophy. Participation is free, and applications, rules and regulations are available at littlerock.com/participate-in-the-parade. The entry deadline is Monday, November 10, 2025.
The parade route will begin at Broadway and West Markham streets and will continue east along Markham, concluding near Interstate 30. Prior to the parade, beginning at 2 p.m. downtown will also host an array of holiday experiences, including photos with Santa, an ornament craft station, and more at the Statehouse Convention Center. To kick off the holiday celebrations around the city, the LRCVB is excited to invite visitors and residents to experience Jingle.Ball.Rock!, a weekend of festive events including the BIG Little Rock Holiday Parade, the State Capitol lighting ceremony and the UA Little Rock–Arkansas State University basketball game at the Jack Stephens Center. Families and friends are encouraged to enjoy a weekend that showcases the best of Little Rock’s holiday celebrations.
