Holiday Celebration in Little Rock

Follow the peppermint path to Downtown Little Rock, where this year's Holiday Parade transforms the streets into Candy Cane Lane.

Join us in Little Rock on Saturday, December 5, 2026, as downtown comes alive with holiday magic. The Little Rock Holiday Parade brings the community together with festive floats, live performances, and seasonal traditions, creating one of the city's favorite holiday celebrations. Before the parade, stop by the Statehouse Convention Center to meet Santa Claus and snap a festive family photo from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The parade kicks off at 3 p.m. at Broadway and West Markham streets, traveling east along Markham toward the Interstate 30 area.

After the parade, head to the Arkansas State Capitol for the annual Arkansas State Capitol Lighting Ceremony, beginning at 5:30 p.m., with the official tree lighting scheduled for approximately 6:15 p.m. Now in its 88th year, this beloved Little Rock tradition has brought the community together each holiday season since the late 1930s.
